Each spring, California-based Peet's Coffee celebrates its anniversary by crafting a coffee that gives back to a community at origin. This year's Anniversary Blend, packaged in a distinctive purple bag, specifically highlights and supports women coffee farmers. With every cup of Anniversary Blend, consumers help support Women’s Entrepreneurship in Huila, Colombia, says Doug Welsh, vice president, coffee, at Peet's. "From business skills to income diversification, supporting the women of Coocentral cooperative means supporting the entire region," he says.

Made up of two washed coffees grown by women farmers in Rwanda and Colombia, the blend is an aromatic dark roast of floral and fruity flavors with chocolate notes. You can buy it online or at participating Peet’s coffee bar locations for $20 per pound and at www.peets.com at $19.95 per pound. To learn more, visit here.

These locations include their Capital One Cafés, located in bank lobbies on Lincoln Road in South Beach, on Brickell and in Coral Gables. These cafes are open to the public, not just Capital One customers, but aim to help everyone experience a convivial experience. Their Cafe Ambassadors can help them with their accounts, learn about new digital and financial tools, tap into free Wi-Fi, or just grab a cup of Peet’s coffee or pastry. Customers do get 50 percent off their Peet's beverage when they use their Capital One card. Interactive screens located throughout the Café are loaded with information on money basics and products, and there are free meeting rooms or nooks offering private or semi-private space for phone calls and meetings.
