Learn how to make your own black gold – it's easy once you learn the basics. Your homemade compost can be added to the landscape to keep your plants healthy. Master Gardeners will teach you what you need to know! Classes teach you the basics of composting.

Participants will receive a voucher for a FREE COMPOST BIN (**one per household) while supplies last. The bins are courtesy of the Miami-Dade Public Works & Waste Management Department.

**You must be a resident of Miami-Dade County to receive a free bin (one per household). Unfortunately, if you live in one of the following areas, you are NOT eligible for a free bin: Golden Beach, Florida City, Hialeah Gardens, Virginia Gardens, El Portal, Indian Creek Village, and Medley.
