Coral Gables Culinary Month
June marks the second annual Coral Gables Culinary Month and the twelfth anniversary of Coral Gables Restaurant Week, June 3-23. More than 30 local restaurants will be offering three-course prix fixe menus at discounted prices and specials during the event's three-week span. While dining at participating eateries, patrons can pick up a “Restaurant Week Passport,” showcasing the participating restaurants, complete with instructions on how to win a gift card to Downtown Coral Gables’ favorite destinations. Popular area restaurants will host special events, from tasting dinners to mixology classes and wine pairings at new and established favorites. There’s also the Bark Crawl, a doggy twist on a bar crawl that will take dog owners and their furry friends on a journey through the district’s restaurants that feature outdoor spaces and offer up refreshing drinks and pet-friendly treats. Surprises are in store with “Freebees on the Freebee,” where unsuspecting Freebee riders will have the opportunity to participate in a Coral Gables trivia challenge and compete for prizes from local restaurants.
