Celebrate sustainable practices and green living with a magical night of mindfulness and music in the Garden. The event will feature green community leaders, a yoga practice on the Great Lawn, Coral Morphologic's film projections, National Geographic's BEFORE THE FLOOD documentary, live musical mixes of DJ Clau, and tantalizing refreshments by Whole Foods and Broken Shaker, 27 Restaurant at Freehand and Spris.

6:30 PM. As the sun sets and ocean levels rise, Miami Beach Botanical Garden leads the way. Join us for a mindful sunset yoga practice with Mike and Amy Dannheim, Miami Beach residents and co-founders of Tropical Vinyasa. Bring your own mat and a re-usable water bottle (no plastic please).

7:30 PM. In honor of the ocean, a visually stunning presentation will be presented by Coral Morphologic, the leading creator of innovative underwater media chronicling Earth's imperiled coral reefs. Coral Morphologic's unique methodology blends science and art in a way that enamors popular culture with the beauty of coral while inspiring the next generation to restore the reefs."

8 PM. Watch an outdoor screening of BEFORE THE FLOOD, National Geographic's documentary film from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Fisher Stevens and Academy Award-winning actor, and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio. BEFORE THE FLOOD presents a riveting account of the dramatic changes now occurring around the world due to climate change.

5-10 PM. Meet and greet with other green organizations, and find out what you can do to connect with the environment. Many of our partners will be on site  including (but not limited to) Fertile Earth Foundation, Environment & Sustainability Department, Worm Whisperer, Wholefoods, The Center for Biological Diversity, and Everyday Humane. A hand picked selection of natural vendors will sell gifts and goodies and green products.

This will be an outdoor screening (weather permitting) so bring a picnic blanket, and chill on the Great Lawn and celebrate Mother Earth with us.
