Father's Day Gospel Jazz Brunch
On Father's Day, Jungle Island will proudly partner with Steve Haas's City Hall the Restaurant to bring back a one-day pop-up Gospel Jazz brunch with special performances by Miami's bonafide gospel diva, Maryel Epps. To make a reservation, call 305-400-7212.
ON THE MENU:
- Fried Chicken & Corn Flake Crusted French Toast: Vanilla-glazed, cornflake crusted, grand marnier French toast topped with crispy, lightly spicy buttermilk-dipped Southern fried chicken and served with maple syrup.
- Braised Beef Short Ribs: 24-hour braised short ribs served with creamy polenta and farm-raised scrambled eggs
- Award-winning pancakes: Vanilla bean infused pancakes with chocolate chips, blueberries or banana with pecans
- House-blend meatloaf baked with crispy onions and barbecue glaze
- City Hall’s famous chocolate chip bourbon croissant bread pudding
- New Orleans influenced shrimp & grits with tasso ham
- Salmon salad made with grilled north Atlantic salmon, mixed greens, Bermuda onions, radishes, strawberries, grapes, toasted sun flower seeds and passion fruit vinaigrette
- City Hall’s signature maple pecan butter accompanied with assortment of fresh artisan breads
