Oakland Park Holiday Village
Free community, family-friendly weekend event at Jaco Pastorius Park. Holiday Village features many activities for adults and children. Holiday Village Photobooth, Children’s Activity Corner, A Kids Kitchen with Cookie Decorating, Artisan & Craft vendors, Live Entertainment, Cooking Demos, Holiday Health & Wellness Seminars, visits from Santa, a cash bar for adults, and a Food Court with food for purchase. For the Christmas Tree Decorating Competition, 30 Oakland Park businesses engage in a friendly rivalry vying for the ultimate prize of Best Decorated Christmas Tree in three judged categories; best traditional tree, best children's tree, best Florida tree and a People's Choice. Attendees receive a token upon entrance into Holiday Village. After viewing all the trees, attendees will then place their token into the voting pail at their favorite tree. The tree with the most tokens wins the People's Choice award. Mark your calendars and join us for this fun-filled holiday weekend in Oakland Park.
