Learn how to grow the unique and unusual tropical summer plants: lemongrass, roselle, sweet potatoes and many fruit trees. We will also talk about composting, cover cropping, and soil building, since summer is also a great time to focus on fertility as well as food production. If there is a part of your yard you want to transform into edible garden for the fall taking some smart steps now and throughout the summer will leave you perfectly poised for successful fall planting. We will all gather around the potting table to make some cuttings together. Many summer plants can be propagated from cuttings instead of seed.
