Why We Love It: It may sound odd, but this Jamaican breakfast tradition, which combines silky preserved salt cod and creamy, soft ackee fruit, cooked with onion and tomato and served with dense, starchy dumplings, makes me think of a Caribbean version of lox, eggs and onion.
