Why We Love It: Third-generation restaurateur Eileen Andrade of Kendall’s popular Finka Table & Tap named this new Cuban diner after her grandmother. Located near her family’s restaurant, Islas Canarias, Amelia’s 1931 features Cuban dishes punched up with Asian and Peruvian flavors: Korean-style frita; General Tsao alligator fried rice; Peruvian arroz con pollo fritters [3]; and ají amarillo chicken with salsa criolla and mariquita crumble steamed buns.
