Why We Love It: So many bagels these days are a disappointment: cakey, floppy, anemic – a roll with a hole. Not at Toasted Bagelry, despite what some would consider sacrilege in the name itself. These are crusty on the outside, with some real substance and chew to them. There’s a lengthy menu, but sometimes nothing beats a good bagel with a shmear of lox cream cheese.
