Why We Love It: Fried rice for breakfast? In Indonesia, nasi goreng is morning food. It is at Threefold Cafe, too, where you can get it as early as 7:30am. They perch a runny fried egg on top of a pile of stir-fried rice, chicken and shrimp, redolent with sweet soy and punctuated with jalapeños, crispy shallots, green onions and cilantro, and it all makes sense.
