Why We Love It: Semillas started as an urban farm cooperative in 2019. Founding members include Gabi from Buenezas, Juan and Patty from Go Green Now Gardens, Mike from Jaja Finca, Sam from Farm the Yard FL, and Diana from Magic City Gardens. Today, Diana now maintains the farm, and shares the space with Amigos de la Huerta. Diana founded her farming/gardening business in 2018, shortly after completing the Small Farm Incubator Program with Little River Cooperative.

Semillas sells plants and produce online and opens the farm up periodically for a U-pick. Visitors can pay for time to harvest tomatoes, Tokyo bekana, daikon radishes, green beans, spicy arugula and mizuna, lettuce, and lots of flowers. Only available by appointment.
