- Meat of one coconut, cut into ¼-inch strips
- 2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Combine tamari, cayenne pepper, cumin and pepper in a large bowl. Add sliced coconut meat. Marinate for two hours. Dehydrate coconut strips for 4-6 hours, until dry but chewy. Store airtight.
