A lot can happen in a decade. Since 2010, we’ve watched South Florida become a destination where you can get an equally terrific meal from a world-class chefs, a restaurant in the suburbs or a 20-seat place barely bigger than a patio. Young artisans, event planners, restaurateurs, sommeliers, brewers, bakers and makers are creating new foods to eat, places to go, experiences to share in brand-new neighborhoods or reinvented old parts of town. We asked some folks who’ve been part of this journey to share their thoughts as we enter a brave new decade in the subtropics.
