You don’t have to live in South Florida to enjoy the Mango Fest Key West from June 22-28. Just go online at noon every day to watch culinary videos, or cocktail videos just in time for your at-home Happy Hour at 5pm. Stroll virtually through Truman’s Waterfront Park Pier at the Virtual Vendor Village and order items online for shipping or delivery. Enter the Mango Fest Poetry and Prose Contest and view the Mango Square Foot Art Show.

Experience all things mango through shopping, education and demonstration, and support a good cause: the Key West Police Athletic League (PAL). This juvenile crime prevention program relies heavily on education, athletics and recreational activities to tighten the bond between cops and kids. Members of the Key West Police Department donate their time and effort to help with an array of programs that include boxing and basketball.

For Keys locals, the Mango Mania Vendor Village will be open all week for food orders to pickup or deliver. The Mango Walk takes participants through Key West to try local tree-ripened mangos set out by residents (only one mango per family per location, please!).

Check online for more details, mango recipes, photos and demonstration videos. To submit contest entries, contact mangofestkeywest@gmail.com.
