South Florida’s Voice of Conservation is marking 75 years of environmental advocacy and education with a birthday bash for Earth Day weekend, April 22-24.  Weekend highlights include:

Bubbly & Bites Birthday Bash
Fri., April 22, 6:30-8pm
Gather on the patio under the oaks for an alfresco evening of bites from Whisk Gourmet and wines from Republic National Distributing Company.

Bird Walk at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park
Sat., April 23, 8:15am-11am
Miriam Avello will lead birders through the park in search of migrating cuckoos, hawks, falcons, vireos, thrushes, tanagers, buntings and warblers.

Birdstock
Sat., April 23, 7-10pm
Top-flight acoustic acts include Acoustic Therapy, DeBlois Milledge and Lyin’ Fish, plus pop-ups from young troubadours. Food trucks and cash-only donation bar.

Members Migration
Sun., April 24, 3-6pm
Celebrate local conservation heroes, enjoy an Everglades National Park book talk and take a bird walk. Honorees include Lloyd Brown, Craig Grossenbacher and Luis Gonzalez.
