Edible Book Contest Winners Delight with Creativity

Food for thought? The reader-cooks at the recent Edible Book Contest at Coconut Grove Branch LIbrary used breakfast cereal, fruits, rice and even seaweed to create their interpretations of books made from foods.

Winners included:

People's Choice: Green Eggs and Ham by Jonathan & Michael J. Prize: One month membership to Silly Monkeys Playhouse

People's Choice: Captain Underpants by Adrian and Cynthia G. Prize: Gift Basket from Fresh Market

Most Appetizing: Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Juanita T. Prize: 2 movies passes courtesy of Cinépolis

Funniest/Punniest: Panda Shorts by Javier H. Prize Gift card courtesy of CraveClean Protein Bake Shop

Most Creative: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Kevin D. Prize  Gift card courtesy of Lokal Miami

The remaining entries received Certificates of Participation and a voucher for Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
