Relief Efforts
In the wake of the horrifying collapse of the Champlain Towers in Surfside, South Florida foundations have created a special hardship fund for those affected. The Coral Gables Community Foundation, The Key Biscayne Community Foundation, The Miami Foundation, Miami HEAT and Miami HEAT Charitable Fund have joined in their efforts. Donate here.
The Greater Miami Jewish Federation has opened an emergency assistance fund for the short- and long-term needs of those in the community affected by the collapse of Champlain Towers South. Donate here.

World Central Kitchen
World Central Kitchen was immediately on the scene deploying local food trucks to feed responders and families in need. Food Rescue US Miami is assisting. You can donate to World Central Kitchen here.
Canceled Events
All Community Center activities have been canceled through Tues., July 6
Miami Beach Compost is asking folks with compost to avoid the North Beach Hub and instead take compost to the South Beach Hub at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden or save it in your freezer till later.
Global Empowerment Mission and The Little Lighthouse Foundation Aid
WHAT: Global Empowerment Mission #bstrong in partnership with The Little Lighthouse Foundation will be supporting survivors from the Champlain building collapse. Care packages and gift cards will be prepared at the GEM headquarters and distributed to residents being relocated to temporary hotels at the hotels and religious centers such as Surfside Florida's Shul of Bal Harbour.

Food for Responders at Dunkin'
WHAT: The North Miami Beach location of Dunkin' will be giving free drinks and food to all first responders.
