Jackfruit is among the 500 varieties of fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs and nuts found at this 37-acre park in the Redland in South Dade. You can tour this unique park, taste seasonal fruits in the gift shop, and discover more at the park’s annual events, including the Redland Heritage Festival (December), the Asian Culture Festival (March), the Redland Blues & Barbecue Festival (April), the Redland Summer Fruit Festival (June), GrowFest (October) and the Seafood Fest (November).

INSIDER TIP: Have lunch at the Mango Café, where park-grown produce is often on the menu. In the gift shop, Gaby’s Farm ice cream uses Redland tropical fruits in flavors like Blissful Black Sapote and Crème de Canistel. Visit their website.
