Meet Our Artist: Beth Rhodes

You might see artist Beth Rhodes’ works at restaurants around town. “It’s not just that they have walls to hang paintings, but that they are spaces concerned with having a certain atmosphere and communicating a specific message,” she says. “Restaurants need visual art; it is the front line of a food experience.” Her custom menus are at The Avenue and her works are on the shelves at Wynwood’s Miami Café, “La Pollita trusted me to paint their food truck with images that reflect their passion for fresh ingredients and Mexican cuisine." Boia De, a new restaurant by Alex Meyer and Luciana Giangrandi, in now open where she gets to contribute artistic elements throughout.
