Our fall 2019 cover is an image of 3D art created by Key Biscayne artist Catalina Rojas using the art and craft of letterpress. With her company, Puro Papel, she says she discovered a “unique market niche where people appreciate the value of original and handcrafted pieces,” including invitations and packaging. Rojas is one of a number of South Florida letterpress printers, including Hey Day, Gigi Press and IS Projects,  and part of a bigger community, Ladies of Letterpress, promoting the art and craft of letterpress printing and encouraging the voice and vision of women printers.
