Produced in the Dominican Republic by the fifth-generation Brugal family, Brugal 1888 is a premium rum that uses sherry casks and two different types of wood, ex-Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry, to age its rum. This technique is usually reserved for high-end, single malts and is a rarer process for aging rum.
