Leaves have asymmetrical yellowing and the veins are often yellow. In contrast, nutritional deficiencies are symmetrical, with both sides of the leaf (right and left of the mid-vein) mirroring the chlorosis, or lack of chlorophyll.
Fruit are small and may be slightly curved, may not fully color and seeds may be aborted. The fruit are okay to eat, but will have off flavors and are sometimes salty.
Branches die back, sometimes a single branch at a time.
