Shopping at Aventura Mall gets a little more festive as premium rum producer Brugal 1888 hosts its second location for La Ventanita from Nov. 5-14. During daytime “cafecito runs” (noon-3pm), guests can enjoy café con leche or cafecitos and pastelitos by Dos Croquetas. At happy hour (4-9pm), La Ventanita turns into the Brugal 1888 Rum Bar, bringing the Dominican Republic to life in Aventura with traditional merengue dance lessons, Brugal 1888-infused ice cream in partnership with Aubi & Ramsa, guided rum tasting sessions with Brugal 1888 ambassadors, guest bartender evenings with top local bartenders, and branded dominos.
