This May, celebrate National Burger Month throughout Greater Fort Lauderdale with a new event created and organized by the Burger Beast and the Visit Lauderdale Food & Wine Fesrival.
“Our mission is to shine a spotlight on the incredible world of tasty and creative burgers, crafted by talented burger folks spanning from Coral Springs to Hallandale Beach, Miramar to Pompano Beach, and everywhere in between, says Burger Beast Sef Gonzalez.
Here’s the rundown of special events:
954 Burger Month Kick Off at LauderAle Brewery with The Burger Beast and BMC Smash Burgers
May 1 – 6-9pm
This will be Burger Beast’s first ever pop-up in Broward County! Special guest Luchadough will also be in attendance slinging some of the best donuts around. Featured burger: The Frita Cubana
Pop-up at North South Grill in Pembroke Pines
May 8 – 6-9pm
This features their specialty burger crafted just for 954 Burger Month.
Pop-Up at The Food Truck Store in Wilton Manors
May 15 – 6-9pm
Featured Burger will be The Pride Burger that will make its debut during 954 Burger Month and be available through the month of June, Pride Month!
Burger Beast Feast at Gilbert’s 17th Street Grill
May 19 – noon-3pm
Celebrate the conclusion of 954 Burger Month with The Burger Beast himself. This event will treat guests to a flight of some of his favorite burgers, french fries, soft drinks and a sweet treat by our friends from Sweet Aloha Ice Cream. Featured restaurants/chefs for the Burger Beast Feast are: Sef ‘Burger Beast’ Gonzalez, Cuban Guys, Gilbert’s 17th Street Grill, PINCHO and Sweet Aloha Ice Cream (more to be announced).
This event is open to all ages and each guest, regardless of age, will need a ticket ($50). Ticket info here.
