James Beard Foundation’s Taste America Comes to Miami Oct. 29

This nationwide initiative to celebrate local independent restaurants returns to Miami Wed., Oct. 29 at Sra. Martinez in Coral Gables, featuring chef Aaron Brooks from Sunny’s in collaboration with chef Michelle Bernstein. The Taste America culinary series presented by Capital One champions the James Beard Foundation’s mission of Good Food for Good. 

The menu includes oysters with mango criolla and sesame acevichado sauce; fluke crudo with calamansi and crunchy garlic; blue crab and spimach lasagna with preserved lemon; shaved vegetable salad with PX vinaigrette and herb gremolata; Wagyu beef flat iron steak; grilled cauliflower steak; and horchata panna cotta.

Chef Aaron Brooks from Sunny’s is recognized as one of the industry’s finest culinary talents and changemakers as part of the Foundation’s annual class of TasteTwenty chefs.
