Hardcore mango lovers: Mango Mania is back on Sat., June 28! The Tropical Fruit & Vegetable Society of the Redland is partnering with the Fruit & Spice Park to present this much-loved event presented by TFVSR for over 30 years!
Learn more about the delicious world of mangos with Dr. Jonathan Crane, tropical fruit crop specialist at University of Florida’s Tropical Research & Education Center (TREC). The program will begin with a 1½ hour presentation, followed by a question-and-answer period, and then a sampling of many locally grown mangos with Dr. Crane. Take home mangos in your bag given at registration. Keep your name tag to visit the Fruit & Spice Park for free for the rest of the day.
The event starts at 9am at Miami-Dade County Extension, 18710 SW 288th Street, Homestead, FL 33030. Registration is $60 online or $75 at the door if space is available, and includes a light breakfast with fresh mangos and a bag to take home some of your favorite mangos!
