Japanese-inspired counter and omakase Miss Crispy Rice is celebrating their one-year anniversary by bringing together 16 top Miami chefs to create a 16-course omakase dinner to be held on three consecutive nights: Fri., Nov. 14-Sun., Nov. 16.
Among the chefs who will take turns hosting for three nights are:
- Norman Van Aken, award-winning chef and cookbook author
- Brad Kilgore, James Beard finalist and founder of Kilgore Hospitality
- Roy Yamaguchi, Japanese-American culinary pioneer chef
- Karla Hoyos, founder Tacotomia and World Central Kitchen Disaster Relief head chef
- Zak Stern of Zak the Baker and James Beard Award finalist
- Pedro Mederos, chef/owner of Kojin 2.0
- Gregg Krupin, hospitality veteran and Inter Miami CF chef
- Dallas Wynne, pastry chef and executive chef of The Butcher’s Club by Jeremy Ford
- Raul Martin, co-founder of La Jamoteca
- Pablo Zitzman, chef/owner of Zitz Sum and Dojo Izakaya
- Tam Pham, Michelin Guide Florida Young Chef Award and owner of Bib Gourmand-recognized Tam Tam chef
- Alejandra Espinoza, chef/owner of Michelin Guide-recommended Ecuadorian restaurant Cotoa
“I’m honored to open my kitchen up to these incredible chefs to celebrate the community we’ve created and to celebrate the first year at our Coral Gables location,” says Miss Crispy Rice owner Andrew Mayer.
