In South Florida, Chef’s Counter at MAASS and Itamae AO are the newest recipients of one MICHELIN star, while EntreNos and Stubborn Seed were awarded a Green Star for sustainability. Local restaurant Heritage in Fort Lauderdale was added to the Bib Gourmand list, which recognizes restaurants for great food and great value. Jacqueline Pirolo of Macchialina received the Michelin Sommelier Award, and Juan Camilo Liscano of Palma received the Young Chef Award.
New local recommended restaurants include Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale; Evelyn’s in Fort Lauderdale; Kojin 2.0 in Coral Gables; Larb Thai-Isan in Fort Lauderdale; Palma in Miami; Recoveco in South Miami; Sereia in Coconut Grove; Sunny’s Steakhouse in Miami; Torno Subito in Miami; and ViceVersa in Miami.
Top awards outside of South Florida include two stars to Sorekara in Orlando; one for Konro in West Palm Beach and Ômo by Jônt in Orlando.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon remains Florida’s first and Miami’s only Two MICHELIN Star restaurant. “L’Atelier is intentional, from sourcing to service, and we’re proud to carry forward chef Robuchon’s legacy while continuing to elevate what’s possible in Florida’s culinary scene,” says executive chef James Friedberg.
Currently, there are 172 restaurants spanning 39 cuisine types in Florida making up MICHELIN Star restaurants, Bib Gourmands and recommended restaurants.
“Florida has proven to be an international culinary destination, with the expansion to three new cities and five restaurants being welcomed into the MICHELIN Star family in this year’s selection,” says Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the MICHELIN Guides. The full selection of honorees, which covers greater Orlando, South Florida and Tampa/St. Petersburg was announced in Orlando.
