South Florida chef Niven Patel of Ghee and Mamey Miami is cooking up a three-course meal as part of Taste America: Miami, a virtual dining event celebrating the local restaurant community. Miami is one of 20 cities taking part in Taste America, featuring a lineup of James Beard Foundation friends, chefs and special guests for a virtual communal dinner to support local independent restaurants.
Guests will pick up a meal, wine and a whiskey tasting on the afternoon of Sun., Oct. 18, plus gain access to cooking demos and a national broadcast. Tickets are $150. Chef Patel’s menu includes:
