That fun purple food – plus other Filipino food, music, art and community – returns to Wynwood Nov. 29-30. Co-hosted by Cross Cultures founded by Cheryl Tiu, this year’s festival is bigger than ever, with live performances, Filipino guest vendors and Miami’s first open-air Kamayan Feast.
Vendors will be serving ube-inspired specials like halo-halo, ube tres leches cake, ube macapuno cupcakes, ube ice cream, plus Filipino classics like lumpia, pork BBQ, isaw and pancit. Guest vendors include:

On Saturday, there will be live music from Buko Boys and an open-for-all karaoke session. On Sunday, the Kamayan Feast is presented as part of the No Reservations chef-incubator program by Humans of the Kitchen. The communal meal will be a collaboration between Sili Miami chefs Leicel Ros and Nancy Dominguez, joined by chef Reiji Yoshizawa (Elyu Omakase) and chef Oliver Lustado.
Guests will gather around long tables lined with banana leaves for a large-format, family-style Filipino feast eaten by hand (gloves provided).
