DraftKings Presents A Gekkō and WAGYUMAFIA Dinner During F1 Miami
For one night only, DraftKings will bring together international wagyu expert Hisato Hamada of WAGYUMAFIA to host a unique pop-up dinner experience at Gekkō, the Japanese-inspired steakhouse led by David Grutman (Groot Hospitality) and Bad Bunny. On Thursday, May 2, during Formula One week in Miami, WAGYUMAFIA will collaborate with Gekkō’s executive chef Tony Mai for a six-course dinner experience.
Gekkō is focused on fusing the beloved cuisine of a steakhouse with the precision and modernity of Japanese cooking. Executive chef Tony Mai will showcase Gekkō’s exceptional cuisine alongside dishes created by WAGYUMAFIA. This will mark Gekkō’s foray into experiential and collaboration dinners.
Founded by self-taught chef and wagyu experts Hisato Hamada and entrepreneur Takafumi Horie, WAGYUMAFIA found its following through private dinner pop-ups which lead to the launch of their exclusive members-only restaurants across Tokyo. Since then, they've embarked on a global journey to educate consumers about authentic Japanese Wagyu.
