Three culinary arts students were among recipients of scholarships presented by the Coral Gables Community Foundation. The two-year scholarships were given to graduating seniors from Coral Gables High School who have shown an interest in the culinary arts during high school and plan to enroll in either culinary arts and/or hospitality in college:
•           Fredrica Fountain (Miami Dade College Culinary School)
•           Jailen Idiaquez (Miami Dade College Culinary School)
•           Kelvis Colina (FIU)
“Each year, the Coral Gables Community Foundation has the privilege of honoring students who have excelled academically and shown outstanding service to their community,” says Jack Lowell, chairman of the Foundation’s board of directors. “We’re thrilled to be able to give more and more each year to these students who are our community’s future.”
