This year’s Give Miami Day was one for the record books, raising more than $33 million for South Florida nonprofits.

“Every year, more and more nonprofits are engaging,” says Loren Parra, director of public affairs at The Miami Foundation. “We benefitted over 976 [nonprofits] in the final tally.”

Food relief categories seemed especially important during this difficult year, from larger nonprofits like Feeding South Florida to smaller groups. “We are really proud of the range of sizes – the smallest and the biggest benefit,” says Parra. “And every dollar raised goes directly to the nonprofit.”

The Miami Foundation provides civic leadership, bringing people together to advance quality of life in Greater Miami.

Groups can register during the summe to participate in Give Miami Day in Nov. 2022 For more information, visit Give Miami Day.

Now celebrating its 10th year, Give Miami Day – Nov. 18 – is one of the nation's biggest 24-hour annual giving events, letting all locals become philanthropists by donating to their favorite nonprofits. Since 2012, Give Miami Day has raised more than $80 million for 1,000+ community nonprofits, and this year, they aim to grow that generosity to $100 million. You don't need to wait until Thursday to give; donate online through early giving if you prefer.

Below are some of our favorite causes with links to their donation pages. To see all nonprofits, visit Give Miami Day.
