South Florida’s 2025 James Beard Semifinalists

The 2025 Restaurant and Chef Award semifinalists for the James Beard Awards have been announced!

South Florida semifinalists are Ghee Indian Kitchen for Outstanding Restaurant; Macchialina for Outstanding Wine Program; Vice Versa for Best New Bar; Allegra Angelo of Vinya Table for Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service; Cafe La Trova for Outstanding Bar; and Nando Chang of Itamae AO for Best Chef South.

Nominees will be announced on Wednesday, April 2, and winners will be announced at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards ceremony on Monday, June 16 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
