Burger Beast Sauces
The offerings: Guava Sriracha Ketchup and Honey Mustard Curry ($8 each)
The story: Comfort food connoisseur Sef Gonzalez first created Guava Sriracha Ketchup as a topping for his Burger Beast burger at Cuban Guys restaurants, then started bottling it to sell. It’s sweet, aromatic, and not too spicy. “For those of you who are afraid of a little heat in their sauces, I got you,” says Gonzalez.
How to use: On burgers, as a dipping sauce, on grilled ribs and wings, in meatloaf or as a glaze. Marinate peeled shrimp in it, then roll in panko and fry. Martin’s Potato Rolls likes it so much it’s part of their Ultimate BBQ Brisket Sandwich recipe.
