Why We Love It: Cousin to the owners of Garcia’s, David Garcia and La Camaronera tell their family story on a stylish mural in their Flagler St. market and restaurant. Six years ago they expanded, adding tables and serving beer. Buy seafood from a display case in the back; eat their famous Pan Con Minuta sandwich – a fried fish on a soft roll, standing up at the counter, or at a table. Garcia has also bought Captain Jim’s Seafood, a long-established restaurant and seafood market in North Miami, and hopes to open later in the year.
