Open since 2012, this rustic neighborhood spot consistently turns out authentic pasta made in house, like beet mezzaluna and cavatelli and regional touches like gnocco fritto, puffy dough from Emilia-Romagna, served for the salumi and cheese board. Executive chef Mike Pirolo was born in Queens but raised in Avellino in Campania; his chef de cuisine, Ruggero Vittorini, was born in Rome.
