Chili Lime Almonds

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole raw almonds
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (approx. ½ lime)
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest (approx. ½ lime)
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place almonds, oil, juice, zest and spices in a medium bowl; mix well to incorporate. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread prepared almonds in a single layer. Roast almonds for 10- 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow nuts to cool a bit. Serve immediately.  Store in airtight container to keep for up to 1 week.

Notes

Makes about 2 cups   This recipe can be easily doubled.
