Coconut Jerky

Ingredients
  

  • Meat of one coconut, cut into ¼-inch strips
  • 2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine tamari, cayenne pepper, cumin and pepper in a large bowl. Add sliced coconut meat. Marinate for two hours. Dehydrate coconut strips for 4-6 hours, until dry but chewy. Store airtight.
