Coquito

Coquito

Coquito

Coquito, the Puerto Rican version of eggnog, uses canned coconut milk and sweetened cream of coconut, a canned product used in piña coladas.

Ingredients

  • 4 cans full-fat coconut milk
  • 4 cans Coco Lopez cream of coconut
  • 4 cans evaporated milk
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 750ml bottle white Puerto
 Rican rum

Instructions

  • In a very large mixing bowl, whisk together all ingredients except for rum. Taste for flavoring. Whisk in one cup of rum, taste, and add more until it’s boozy enough for you. Pour into glass bottles or mason jars and refrigerate. Shake before serving.

Notes

Makes about one gallon, depending on how much rum you use. This version does not use eggs.
