
Radish Sandwiches
Fall and winter is radish season in South Florida.
Ingredients
- Baguette
- Unsalted butter
- Sea salt
- Radishes, washed and sliced thinly
- Optional: Arugula
Instructions
- Slice the baguette. For each sandwich, spread thickly with butter and top with radish slices. Add arugula, if you’re using.
Notes
When local radishes come into season, this is what you do with them. You can slice baguettes crosswise to make open-face sandwiches, or lengthwise to make a regular closed top sandwich. The secret? Use lots of good-quality butter.
