Strawberries with Honey Cream
Ingredients
- 1 qt. fresh strawberries
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 tablespoons local honey
- 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier
- Grated rind from one orange
Instructions
- Hull strawberries but keep whole and place in a bowl. Using a chilled bowl and beaters, whip cream just into soft peaks start to form. Quickly beat in honey and Grand Marnier. Fold in grated rind and serve immediately with berries.
Notes
Serves 4 No need to gild the lily – eating sweet, freshly picked strawberries still warm from the sun is one of life’s grand pleasures. Back at home, a dollop of honey cream dresses them up for company.
