Ingredients

  • 2 lemons or limes, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh mint or basil leaves, crushed slightly
  • 8 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Sliced strawberries, pineapple, cucumber, melon

Makes 1 pitcher  Instead of soda pop or sugary juices, this refreshing, flavorful drink is water infused with herbs and fresh fruits.

Instructions

Combine lemon or lime slices in a large pitcher with mint or basil leaves. Add water. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Pour over ice cubes and garnish with slices of fruits if you want.
