Ingredients
- 2 oz rum añejo
- .33 oz cafecito syrup
- 4 dashes Scrappy’s Chocolate Bitters
- Orange peel and grated coffee beans
- Glassware: Old Fashioned glass

This Old Fashioned marries the flavors of rum and coffee. Chocolate bitters add a bit of decadence to this Miami version of the classic.
Instructions
Add all ingredients into mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Served over big ice cube into an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with orange peel and grated coffee beans.
Cafecito syrup: Combine 2 cups of Demerera sugar (turbinado), 1 cup hot water and 1 shot (1.5 oz) espresso coffee in a bowl and mix until well dissolved. Let cool. Label and store.
