Pup & Pantry

Despite closings at restaurants and retail locations, resilient food artisans are still launching their products. Pup & Pantry is a new line of pet treats from Aubrey Swanson. After her planned launch party in March was called off, she chose to offer a limited delivery service.

“Since everyone is home with their dogs, and traffic is light, now is the best time to launch free, local delivery and pickup from our home in Miami Shores,” says Swanson, who was inspired to create the pet treats for Rebel, her Jack Russell rescue pup.

For now, she’s launching with five flavors: PB & PB, Oats & Honey, PB & CBD, Puppermint Patty, and Everything “El Bagel,” a special collaboration with Matteson Koch at El Bagel, now open at their Miami East Side location.

The soft, chewy treats contain simple ingredients, many organic, free from wheat, corn or soy, known allergens for dogs. Swanson worked with local designer Isabel Serna of Black Lamb Studio and photographer Julia (Rose) Andreasen for a photo shoot with friends and their dogs, including Adam and Nicole’s Dzama (Boxelder), her designer’s Charlie (Black Lamb Studio), Christine Martinez’s Cindy Bear (Taquiza), Matteson and Ellie’s Syd (El Bagel), and Jackie Richie and Greg Tetzner’s Kipper and Daisy (Old Greg’s Pizza).
