Calle Ocho Live, All Star Virtual Latin Music Fest
Ready for Hispanic Heritage Month’s largest online Latin music festival? This big event starts at 3pm on Sun., Oct. 4 with a live tailgate party featuring a national dance competition, short cooking segments and musical performances. The main event of Calle Ocho Live immediately follows from 4pm-7pm with a musical lineup that includes Reggaeton star Ivy Queen doing a virtual duet, “La Vida Es Un Carnaval,” with the late Queen of Salsa Celia Cruz.
The virtual show is co-hosted by Rosario Dawson and Dascha Polanco, pop culture personalities Lulu y Lala of iHeartMedia, Jenny Lorenzo (aka La Abuela) and AJ Ramos “AJ Kallejero.” Other Calle Ocho Live artists include: Alcover; Alejandro Santamaria feat.
