It’s Art Week as Art Basel Miami Beach and satellite events return to Greater Miami. This year, Art Basel Miami Beach runs Dec. 2-4, featuring 254 galleries from 36 countries and territories for gallery walk-throughs and virtual events. Dead Rabbit Pop-up at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach
WHAT: New York City’s cult classic Irish bar Dead Rabbit pops up at The Ritz-Carlton, offering their famous Irish coffee and other favorite cocktails. They’re also hosting two cocktail-making masterclass events on Dec. 4 and 11.

Art, Blues and Soul Festival
WHAT: Celebrate the arts, sounds and flavors of Black Miami with Grammy Award-winning R&B and soul singer-songwriter Chrisette Michele, plus Jon B and Glenn Jones. Local artists will display visual art and vendors will be on hand with food and more.

Sugarlandia + Dream Machine at The Standard, Miami Beach
WHAT: Don Papa Rum has teamed up with boozy ice cream brand Aubi + Ramsa to create rum-infused mango sorbet, available for guests and locals alike in the hotel’s lobby. The sorbet is a key ingredient in Don Papa’s Golden Hour cocktail available at the Lido Bayside Grill all week long. Also at The Standard: a new digital mirror piece from Jonathan Rosen’s interactive Dream Machine series.

Love Lost, Miami in Upper East Side Miami
WHAT: An exhibit of crowdsourced ordinary objects and their accompanying stories created by and for the Miami community, revealing stories of heartbreak that live in our own backyard.

Marea in Miami at Osteria Morini, Miami Beach
WHAT: For Miami Art Week, Osteria Morini Miami Beach welcomes its sister restaurant, Marea, for a two-night takeover. The canal-front patio will be transformed into Marea in Miami, serving a four-course menu, welcome cocktail reception and wine pairing. They’ll also host their first-ever Sunday Drag Brunch hosted by Jasmine Pryce Lords with Italian brunch fare and cocktails.

Brugal 1888 La Ventanita Nauti Grind Bodega at Nautilus by Arlo
WHAT: Premium rum Brugal 1888 will collaborate with artist Cesar Menchaca to create bottles that incorporate traditional Mexican Huichol art at their newest pop-up. Guests can lounge in plush seating and enjoy coffee and pastelitos during the day – noon-3pm – and sip craft cocktails during happy hour 4-9pm.

Diageo Presents Miami Spirit
WHAT: Inspired by the neighborhoods and culture of the Magic City, Diageo will unveil two new works of art that represent iconic Miami architectural styles and are inspired by custom Diageo cocktails. Look for multiple new installations here during Miami Art Week.

WHAT: Artist and sculptor Monica Leslie Travis will take over Juvia’s rooftop fountain, creating an exclusive art piece, “The Restaurant in the Duck.” There’s a special Art Basel Menu.

Digital Art Show at MILA Restaurant
WHAT: Local digital artist Natasha Tomchin’s creativity and design will stimulate your perception with video mapped projections in the pool on MILA’s terrace, adding whimsey to your dining experience. Lights and reflections cascade off the water and surround our elevated Fire Dancing shows each evening.

Chotto Matte + Gustavo Oveido
WHAT: Known for its Nikkei cuisine, Chotto Matte partners with graffiti artist Gustavo Oviedo to display five to seven original artworks throughout their space. The brand will also unveil Tropical Osmosis, a cocktail inspired by Oviedo’s work, made with Código 1530 Blanco, Mezcal, ancho chili, ginger honey syrup, kumquat, egg white, cream, club soda and a pinch of art.
