The eighth annual Gridiron Grill-Off Food and Wine Festival teams up top chefs with NFL legends to create delicious grilled dishes at the Pompano Beach Amphitheatre Nov. 11.
It’s one of South Florida’s most enjoyable outdoor charity events – fans spend the afternoon listening to live music from some of today’s best up-and-coming artists, sampling gourmet food, premium wine and spirits and competing with their favorite NFL Players in the annual Cornhole Tournament.
This year’s NFL participants include Jim “Crash” Jensen, Mark Higgs, Jim Kiick, Mercury Morris, Louis Oliver, Don McNeal, Zach Thomas, Larry Little, A.J. Duhe, Mark Duper and Nat Moore, paired with South Florida chefs, including Shary Almodovar of The Foundry, Jorlian Rivera of S3, David Hackett of Palme D’or at The Biltmore, Ralph Pagano of the Naked Crab and Rey de la Osa of Publix Aprons.
