Haitian Compas Festival, Miramar

A staple in the Haitian community, this festival celebrates 24 years of music and culture.

Creole Culinary Classics Cook-Off

Two award-winning celebrity chefs will be invited to the LHCC to have a cook-off featuring classic Haitian culinary dishes. The chefs will be judged and awarded by local Haitian-American influencers.

Haitian Flag Heritage Week, Miami

Free walking tours are available ffor all educational institutions ranging from elementary school students to university students. The tours will highlight the history of the Haitian flag from the time of Bwa Kayiman ceremony to the present.

Haitian Film Celebration, Coral Gables

Enjoy a day celebrating Haitian culture, food, music, and films with local Haitian American filmmakers as special guests. Admission is $4 for cinema members and $8 for everyone else.

Haitian Heritage Night, downtown Miami

In honor of Haitian Heritage Month, Pérez Art Museum Miami, in collaboration with FePouLi.org and Artists Institute in Haiti, presents the film program Men Nan Men—an evening of Haitian solidarity through films and discussion. Award-winning filmmaker Rachelle Salnave and Producer Marc Henry Valmond will moderate a panel discussion with filmmakers Estaïlove St-Val, Keziah Jean, Wilson Edmond, and Rachelle Salnave. The program ends on the outdoor terrace with sounds by DJ Graematter along with Haitian drumming and traditional dance.
